Story and progress:

Decoupage is a technique where you cut and paste tissue paper/any thin paper on to a flat hard surface using glue then put varnish. To save some money, instead of buying tissue papers thats made for decoupage, I decided to use my old comic book. I practically murdered it for this assignment.

FINAL RESULT

I used a wooden tray as the media to stick on the papers.

I also painted the hiragana and writing 'Psycho' to add a little bit of edge.

In making this assignment, I thought about my older sister who's into Japanese culture and anime. I decided to dedicate this one to her. The comic book is a random old comic I found but the title 'Psycho' is actually a real anime and she has a shirt with the same writing on it.
