MOOD BOARD:

For this assignment we were told to choose between the theme tropical, ethnic, frozen, and festive. I then chose the topical since I'm the most comfortable with it.

I decided to go with a blue, pink and soft brown colour palette. Blue being the dominant colour.

Since the beach is always a happy place for me, I wanted the mood to be more soft, serene and haven life. Minimal rough edges.

REFERENCES AND INSPIRATION:

I had my worries with this project because this is my first time making abstract art. I decided to have fun and use acrylics as a dominant material. I painted the waves using a palette knife.

Aside from that, I wanted to use stamping technique for the leaves and flowers. As for the sand, I used a recycle paper that I burned the edge off.

HERE ARE MY TRIAL AND ERROR
