Do you think traditional drawing (still) have some advantage compare to digital ones?
Personally, yes. I'm not someone who's quite familiar with digital drawing however I am aware on the tools and advantages it provides (e.g. The redo/undo button, layers, etc). When operated well, you can create amazing results with no mess. But when it comes to traditional drawing, wether we like it or not its where our ancestors first started to discover drawing. Aside from that, traditional drawing is easier to understand for newbies. You can also feel the texture of your drawing which some people may find important, unlike digital drawing. Plus you will never run out of storage space or have your gadgets suddenly crash when doing your projects. Traditional drawing feels more therapeutic.
2. Have you done something similar and in what kind of setup– is it from paper to a desktop/laptop, or maybe to iPad?
Like I said earlier, no. You can say that I'm starting from scratch. It never phased me to learn how to draw digitally, but here I am now. I am excited to experience this new media. However, I do watch a lot of digital drawing tutorials or time lapse on Youtube or now TikTok.
II. Local Artists/Designers Who Uses Vector
1. Fergy Izvan Riskiyanto is a young 16 year old Indonesian Vector artist. He is currently still in Senior High school. He has only learned vexel art (Vector Pixel Art) for two years but is able to create amazing designs. He is also currently opening commissions. via www.fiverr.com/ferizris
Fergy's art style is mostly portraits of people or movie characters. You can see that he is a fan of games like Assasin's Creed, animes like Naruto, Attack on Titan and many more. So he focuses more on that, making his own version of those fictional characters.

2. Ahmad Bayu Prastyo is another small local vector artist. He is currently working as a graphic designer in Nalar Naluri and 123RF (via facebook). Bayu is not much of a social media person, there aren't much information regarding his age or education background.
Here are Bayu's work;
Bayu focuses more on logo design. Using a faded colourful colour palette, he makes minimal yet adorable detailed logos of multiple brands. It is very apparent that Bayu is very experienced in this field.

3. Fajar Susilo is yet another young artist, he is a 19 year old visual artist from Pekalongan, Central Java. He is currently also opening commissions for his digital creations and such. He has been selling his work since late 2019. Fajar already has quite the following and positive review online.
Fajar also focuses more on portraits. He mostly uploads his commission works, but he does draw alot of public figures. Ranging from famous British Pakistani singer Zayn Malik, to korean singers like Jisoo from BlackPink, BTS and many more.

4. Rizki Saputra is a woman around her 20s. I was not able to attain much information about her biodata, however she stated on her Instagram that she also does commissions.
As you can see her Instagram mostly focuses on her commission work (all portraits). Aside from that, she does create paintings of K-pop Idols and tutorials on how she make her creations.

5. Edo Septiyan Putra is a vector artist who's working full-time as a Senior Product Designer, but he is still open for freelance work & collaboration. Edo has worked with companies like Dominoz Pizza, CIMB Malaysia, Multimedia Commissions and many more.
Here are Edo's work:
Edo's work either focuses on fictional action characters or a negative space illustration, His negative space work tend to have a more lonely feel to it. But action characters are more bright and lively. Edo's art style is very well diversed.

this website is preferable for beginners, for it teaches the absolute basics of working with vector.

this website teaches several different styles of vectors or even techniques using sites like adb illustrator and photoshop
3. PINTEREST
Yes, Pinterest does offer tutorials. Pinterest is good since many people are already familiar with it. There are a wide range of style selection and techniques to suit each person's taste.
