Creating and editing art boards

Art boards in Adobe XD is basically the workspace where we create our designs. Adobe XD provides multiple presets. However, we are still able to customize our own size or even edit the presets.

When you start a new document, this is the basic preset they provide.

(Exception for the 'Custom Size' one)

The icon above is the 'Art Board' icon. Located in the left side of the screen,

if you click it it will show even

more layout presets.

(As shown on the picture on the right)

You can add multiple art boards by clicking on one of these options. It will automatically insert a new one.

you are also able to rename the art board by double clicking the title

Customize your own art board by changing the width and height manually on the

art board.

You are also able to change the art board color by changing the fill color. You can also change the transparency.

After following the given tutorial by our lecturer, this is the result of the art board. In conclusion, you can create multiple art boards in different sizes and colors in one media.
